Tintos Student Integration Model and Beans Model of Student liberation are the two theories. The Tintos Student Integration Model theory theorizes how well the individuals motivation and academic ability match the institutions academic and social characteristics. This match shapes a persons commitment to completing college and commitment to the institution.
